Dear Ranjini,

I find this government’s system of arbitrary detention unjust and in contradiction to basic human rights. I really am saddened and disappointed to read the story about Ranjini and her children being torn from their homes and sent to detention with no explanation and such uncertainity about the future. My love goes out to you and your family. I sincerely hope that you are released as soon as possible. This should not be happening in this so called democratic and multicultural country.
