Dear Ranjini,

To not be made aware as to why you have been detained in a way that assumes you to be a dangerous person to the Australian community, is an appalling injustice committed by government against you. Furthermore, that your children are placed in custody in this way, is a gross violation of the UN’s Convention on the Rights of the Child.

I am appalled and ashamed of the Australian government for permitting these actions. I will add voice of protest to what has happened. I hope that the government will heed the protests at your treatment and have you are released soon.
